Aubrey is 3 Months Old!

Aubrey just keeps growing! On Sunday she turned 3 months old, and in true second child fashion I forgot to take her picture (I remembered when she was taking a nap, but I didn't want to wake her). I did remember to take her picture on Monday, and she was in a very happy mood :) Of course Caleb had to get in on the photos too. Aubrey is still a very "talkative" and happy girl. She sleeps very well at night. She's getting close to rolling over, but she still hasn't. She loves to lay on her playmat and swing at the toys hanging above her. A lot of times she ends up on her side from all her wiggling. She is very ticklish and her giggle makes all of us laugh. Caleb especially loves to make her giggle!

Happy little girl :)
Tummy time!

Painting time :)

Well I did it...I broke down and joined Pinterest. I knew if I joined I would be addicted, and I totally am! I've found some fun crafty things to do with Caleb and with the cold weather coming it will be nice to have indoor activities to do. Matt had an idea over the weekend to build Caleb a step stool for the bathroom, so he can wash his hands and whatnot. Matt built it and then Caleb got to paint it. Caleb loves to paint, and he takes it so seriously. We even put his footprints on the top to finish it off.  Unfortunately Caleb's maiden voyage of using it was a bit rough...he finished brushing his teeth (forgot he was on the step stool) and fell flat on his face. Luckily there were no injuries :)

Painting his step stool... He is definitely still a lefty.

Caleb was so busy painting he couldn't even turn to smile for the picture :)

He has facial hair like his father...and Grandpa Dennis :)

Caleb thought Aubrey was hungry for waffles...

In fact he was convinced she wanted waffles :)

Fall fun...

Well it's been awfully cold lately, but we have enjoyed some nice weather. On the warmer days we always try to get Caleb outside. He's going to miss playing outside once the snow comes, but hopefully it won't be as cold of a winter this year so Caleb can get out and play in the snow. Here's a few pictures of some fall fun...

Helping daddy rake up the leaves...

Jumping in the leaves!

So happy to be outside :)

Aubrey joined Caleb outside for about 2 minutes...It didn't really work out.

What a little worker :)

While daddy and Caleb played outside in the leaves, mommy and Aubrey played dress up!

Happy Halloween!

Well we had a successful Halloween night last Friday. I didn't have to work on Halloween day, so I got to spend the whole day with my kiddos. I tried to explain the whole "trick or treating" thing to Caleb, and by the time we actually went later that night he was saying "trick or treat." (In fact he is still saying "trick or treat" in the hopes we will continue to give him candy :) Caleb decided to be a lion this year. He loves to roar and play "lions" with daddy, so we found him a nice lion costume. We've had if for a couple of weeks, and he would put it on almost every day after day care. I was afraid he wouldn't want to wear it on actual Halloween night, but luckily he was still excited to be a lion.

We stuck with the animal theme and had Aubrey wear a giraffe outfit that Grandma Marjean bought her from the San Diego zoo last spring. We loaded up and headed to Great Grandma Betty's first, and Caleb had a good chance to practice his new "trick or treating" skills. Next we went to Grandma Teresa's and dropped off Aubrey, so we could stop by my friend Beth's house. Then we headed back to Grandma Teresa's and waited for cousin Jaxon to get into town. Aunt Jessie, cousin Jaxon, Matt, and Caleb went around to the houses in Grandma Teresa's neighborhood. Caleb enjoyed it, but it was too cold to stay out for long. We ate supper at Grandma Teresa's and then we headed home.

You'd never see this in the wild :)
