Easter Day!

We woke up Easter morning at Grandpa Dale's and Grandma Marjean's. We got all dressed up and tried to take a nice Easter day picture...didn't quite work out :) Then we headed off to church, enjoyed some wonderful egg bake, and an amazing service. Then we headed on home to spend the Easter afternoon with Grandma Teresa. The kids loved playing outside together and running around all over. We had a great meal together with family, and then the kids headed outside again to search for Easter eggs. We had a truly wonderful day with family and friends, and we feel so blessed especially on Easter!

Easter at Twin Lakes and Cousin Nolan's Birthday!

Friday afternoon we loaded up the car and headed back to the Manson area for the weekend. We stopped in Fort Dodge at the hospital to visit Great Grandpa Ron. We were happy to see Grandpa doing much better, and Caleb entertained Grandpa and showed off his talking skills. Later that evening Great Grandma Ruth, Uncle Adam, Aunt Sarah, and cousins Nolan and Landon came out to Grandpa Dale and Grandma Marjean's to celebrate Easter a few days early. We enjoyed a tasty meal, and then the kids had fun looking for their Easter baskets and eggs.

Saturday April 19th we celebrated cousin Nolan's 5th birthday!!! We enjoyed a wonderful brunch and celebrated another year with our superhero Nolan! We are so blessed to have him in our family. We hope this next year is an easier one for him.

Giving Great Grandma Ruth some thank you kisses :)

Fun with the Reyersons!

Saturday evening we brought Caleb's new dune buggy out to his Uncle Dave and Aunt Jessie's for a fun evening outside with his cousins Jaxon and Makayla. The kids had a ball together, and they enjoyed racing and riding with each other out on the farm. By the time we headed inside for supper the kids (and adults) were tuckered out!!! It was a wonderful day of family and fun, and we look forward to many more days together this spring and summer!

Jaxon gave driving a try and drove Caleb around the farm...

They were so cute talking and riding along together :)

Then Jaxon got on his new Power Wheels 4 Wheeler and showed Caleb how much faster he could go!

Caleb gave Makayla a ride after she woke up from her nap.

Jay brought a kite out and the kids loved watching it up in the sky (until it got stuck in a tree:)

Pow...Pow...Power Wheels!!

Grandma Teresa surprised Caleb with an early gift of a Power Wheels Dune Buggy. He got it Saturday and drove it up and down the alley numerous times. He looked so proud of himself as he drove back and forth, and he cried when we made him go inside to take his nap.

The Itsy Bitsy Spider....

Caleb loves to sing! Here's a bit of him singing the Itsy Bitsy Spider from back in February...
