Our little guy...

Time has been flying by it seems... Caleb enjoys his time at the baby-sitters while mommy and daddy are both at work. Caleb has surprised us on the weekends a couple of times and slept in past 7:30!!!! We haven't really been doing anything too exciting, but Caleb continues to add new words to his vocabulary. Currently his favorite phrase is "Peas....ok." (Please, then a short pause followed by a very clear ok) It's so fun to be able to communicate more and more. When we ask him to get something he typically does, and he loves throwing stuff away in the garbage especially Kleenexes. Here are some random photos and videos from the last month or so...

Caleb enjoyed some blonde brownies mommy made...then he discovered he could pick out the chocolate chips, and he was so proud :-)

Such a happy boy!

Where did Caleb go?

He thinks it's hilarious to hide in the pantry...

Tickled by daddy...

Too cute!

Can you say "cheese"?

Apple Orchard Fun!!!

Daddy, Mommy, and Caleb spent the morning of Saturday September 21st playing with Grandma Marjean, Uncle Adam, and cousin Landon at the Community Orchard in Fort Dodge. The kids had an amazing time playing in the "Back Forty." They played in the corn box, slid down the slide, jumped on the giant "pillow," rode the cow train, checked out the animals, and sprayed water. We took a little break to enjoy some popcorn and apple cider slushies... yum!!! Then we did a little more playing and headed to the Sports Page for lunch. That night we enjoyed pizza and chicken at Uncle Adam and Aunt Sarah's house.

Sunday we got up and went to church, had lunch at Grandma Marjean and Grandpa Dale's, and then headed to Landon's house for his 2nd birthday party!!! It was so cute with it's Mickey Mouse theme! Landon loved it when we sang "Happy Birthday" to him, but he had to be convinced to open his presents. Unfortunately as usual we had forgotten to bring our camera for the weekend and then my phone battery died so we didn't get any pictures of all of the birthday festivities...Here's a little look at what we did catch on camera :-)

What cuties!

Grandma and Landon

Daddy and Caleb and then Grandma and Caleb enjoying the slide!! Caleb loved it!

A little family pic :-)

Caleb enjoyed the animals!

Grandma and Caleb checking out the goats.

Boys checking out  the animals. The pig was pretty loud and scared Landon and Caleb sometimes...

Caleb on his tire horsey swing and then we got a ride on the cow train! It went fast!

A little blurry, but still too cute not to include. Caleb thought it was hilarious to climb into the cupboard...

Caleb fell asleep on Great Grandma Ruth at church on Sunday. One second he was awake and then he just conked out!

Caleb is a bit vain and likes to have his picture taken. He understands mommy's phone has a camera so he always picks it up and says "cheese"  :-)
