This was my morning a few days ago...

Pool day at Grandma T's!

Caleb enjoyed a fun day at Grandma Teresa's with cousins Jaxon and Makayla in early September. Grandma T bought a new pool, so she filled it up and the kids gave it a try. The kids had a great time running around and enjoying the sun. Jaxon was the only one who actually got in the pool to swim, but Caleb and Makayla loved to dump the water out!

Final day in California...Tierney's Wedding!

Sunday we woke up and headed over to CoCo's again for some great breakfast. Caleb took a short nap at the hotel, and then we all got dressed up before we started our drive to Blue Jay. We had lunch at In-and-Out Burger. Yummy! Then we made our way up the mountain on the "Rim of the World" highway. (We were afraid Grandma Marjean wouldn't make it up the mountain, but she did!!!!) We arrived early for the wedding and tried to help out with what we could, and then it was time to find our seat in the "woods" for the wedding. What a gorgeous wedding!! We had an amazing time, and we were so happy to share in Josh and Tierney's wedding day. We wish them all of life's happiness!!

Day 3 in California...

Saturday the day was spent on a tour of the Santa Monica and Hollywood areas. Anndee drove us to Santa Monica where we boarded a bus and listened to a tour guide as we drove through the streets of Santa Monica. When the bus reached Hollywood we hopped off the bus to explore. After our exploring and some lunch we got back on the bus and finished our tour. Caleb was so sleepy he fell asleep right away (but didn't stay asleep for long). We ended up eating food from Red Robin in our hotel room because Caleb was being  uncooperative. He did such a good job for most of the trip, but a couple of times he lost it :-) He slept well that night! (Again, sorry for the lack of pictures...my camera broke.)

We looked and looked for a star for Julia Roberts and couldn't find one.. Well it turns out that she doesn't have one! Bummer... but we found Reba McIntire's!

California Day 2...

On Friday the 23rd, Grandma Marjean, Grandpa Dale, Aunt Anndee, Caleb, and I enjoyed breakfast at CoCo's (similar to a Perkins) and then Anndee and I headed off to Lake Arrowhead to spend the day with the bride to be. We made our way up the "hill" (which is definitely more of a mountain!) on the highway known as the "Rim of the World." We helped out a bit with some little details for the wedding, ate lunch at the camp Tierney's parents work for, and then headed to a friends house to play some fun little games and enjoy time together on the lake. For supper we enjoyed tamales, rice, beans, chips, and salsa. Delicious! We enjoyed more time together and then headed back down the "hill." What a wonderful day!

Grandma Marjean, Grandpa Dale, and Caleb went on a little adventure of their own...they visited the Crystal Cathedral and walked around Garden Grove/Anaheim a little bit. Unfortunately my camera broke, so I don't have as many photos for the day.
