We made it to Grandma Marjean's and Grandpa Dale's around 10:00 Christmas day. Caleb played with toys, while mommy tried to help grandma get things ready for lunch. Great Grandma Ruth shared in the day with us, and Uncle Adam, Aunt Sarah, and cousins Nolan and Landon arrived to add to the fun! We enjoyed an amazing dinner of beef tenderloin, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, fruit, asparagus, rye bread, and much more. By the time we were finished eating the kids were ready to open a present, so Nolan, Landon, and Caleb each opened a present and then they headed off to their naps.
After nap time, we opened the rest of the presents. Caleb got a Thomas the train and track set from Nolan and Landon. His big gift from Grandma Marjean and Dale was a mini trampoline. Uncle Adam, Aunt Sarah, Landon, and Caleb played a couple games of Hungry, Hungry Hippo...too bad Caleb was a little cheater and kept stealing the balls off of the game board! (He didn't learn that from me!) We enjoyed supper together, and then Grandma Marjean gave Landon and Caleb a bath together. I bet they were in the tub for a half hour at least! They had so much fun together! Then they put on their matching pajamas (from Grandma Marjean) and took turns jumping on the new trampoline!
