First Days of School!

Caleb and Aubrey are off to school!

Caleb had his first day of kindergarten on Wednesday August 23rd, and Aubrey started 3-year-old preschool shortly afterwards on Tuesday August 29th!

Both Caleb and Aubrey were excited to start school, but I was nervous about Caleb as he has a more reserved personality. He did great his first day! (It was mom who couldn't keep it together...) He has since had a couple of rough days, but overall he loves school and especially likes his teacher Mrs. Hanna. We like hearing about his day (when he's willing to share) and make sure he gets to bed on time as school is utterly exhausting! It's quite a change from 3 half days to five full days of school for our little man :-)

Aubrey is such a social butterfly that she asks every day if she gets to go to school. I don't worry about her as much as her brother because she is definitely a go-getter and has a strong (...bossy) personality :-) She has loved her first couple of weeks at school and is very excited to bring snack and the share-bag later this month.

She's only 1 of 3 girls in her class, and she has already deemed one girl her "best friend." She's very much gender biased when it comes to her "best friends."
