Aubrey's 2nd birthday!

Well, Aubrey hit the 2 year mark on August 9th. It was a low key day...mom had volleyball and registration at the school, so I missed out on most of the day with her. Daddy was at work until 4:00, but Aubrey had a fun party at daycare and a good time with Grandma Teresa, Caleb, and her daddy later. They went out to Burger King for supper and enjoyed some ice cream. Then when I got home she opened her gifts from Caleb, daddy, and me.

The following weekend we celebrated Aubrey's 2nd birthday with a Minnie Mouse themed party. All of our immediate family was able to be there and everyone had a hot dog time :) Aubrey was spoiled as usual with amazing gifts and loved all of the love and attention everyone gave her.

Aubrey is amazingly verbal and could be on the verge of potty-training. (Cross your fingers for me!) She loves to do whatever her big brother is doing and sometimes tries too hard to be bigger than she is. She loves her blankie, her dolls, and her make-up (and any toy Caleb is playing with). She's a good eater and especially likes yogurt, suckers, and anything on anyone's plate but her own :) We can't imagine life without her and we look forward to the year ahead! She's such a joy!
