Christmas Eve!

Christmas Eve we woke up to enjoy some family time together. Aubrey wanted to head outside right away, but we had other plans. Like I showed in a previous post Caleb and I had made some cut-out sugar cookies, but we didn't have time until Christmas Eve to actually frost them. Caleb helped mostly with sprinkles, and Aubrey, well Aubrey was best as taster...let's face it, nobody would want to eat a cookie she had "helped" with :)

After a pretty relaxing day, we got dressed up to go to Christmas Eve service at 4:30. The kids were actually quite cooperative, and I actually got a couple of good pictures. Then Uncle Jay Jay stopped over, and Aubrey thought his Rudolph sweater was pretty :) Caleb helped us decide what to leave out for Santa, and then the kids headed up to bed.

Aubrey wanted to go outside. She loves her hat and boots. If anyone mentions the word outside she heads for the door.

Frosting cookies!

Aubrey had to try too...

but that led to sampling :)

My sprinkles man!

Ready for church!

Maybe a little too cheesy...

Aubrey just loves her big brother.

They really do love each other.

Jay-Jay's cool Rudolph sweater.

Singing some Christmas songs before bed.

So happy and ready for bed.

Setting out the milk and cookies for Santa and a carrot for Rudolph.

Caleb was afraid Aubrey was going to eat the cookies, so he held her back.

Caleb picked out the cookies to leave for Santa. He actually frosted the red cookie by himself and then I added the outline.
