The last weekend in August our family along with Grandma Teresa, Craig, Aunt Jessie, Uncle Dave, Jaxon and Makayla all headed up to Minnesota to enjoy the Como Zoo. We had a great time checking out all the animals and spending time together though the gorillas were a bit too stinky for our liking :)
The kids also enjoyed some fun at the ComoTown and rode some rides, including the bumper cars. I especially enjoyed the food (corn dogs, mini donuts, and a strawberry smoothie!) By 3:30 we headed on home. The kids slept in the car, and our family stopped at Famous Dave's in Owatonna. It was delicious. Aubrey especially enjoyed the macaroni and cheese, and Caleb loved his chocolate milk :)
