Last Wednesday Caleb, Aubrey, and I headed back to Twin Lakes. We had meant to go to Des Moines to the zoo, but the weather wasn't cooperating so we headed straight to Grandma's. We spent the morning at Grandma's and then headed out to Great Grandma Ruth's after lunch. Landon and Caleb loved playing outside, and Aubrey enjoyed the sunshine too. Uncle Adam even gave the kids and Grandma Marjean a ride in the gator. Then we headed back to Grandma Marjean's and enjoyed the afternoon playing together.
Thursday Lisa and Leah Aljets stopped over for awhile, as well as mommy's cousin Alanna, Great Grandma Ruth, Abbie and Ella.We spent most of the day outside enjoying the weather. That evening we headed out to Grandpa Dennis' and had grilled burgers with Grandpa, Aunt Hunter, Great Grandpa Ron, and mommy's cousin Luke. We enjoyed catching up, and Caleb really enjoyed playing with Hunter. Later on Great Aunt Denise, Delaney, and Dailyn stopped over to say hi. Denise and Caleb had a good time trying out some dance moves that we hope will come back out at the reunion this summer. Then it was time to head back to Grandma's to go to bed.
Friday morning, Uncle Adam dropped off cousins Landon and Mabel. Landon and Caleb got out the squirt guns and had a wonderful time spraying everything they could find. They also enjoyed throwing rocks in the lake, riding their trikes, and filling up their trikes with "gas." Great Grandma Ruth stopped by again, and we enjoyed relaxing outside. After a yummy lunch, we packed up and headed on back to Northwood.
