As always I'm late getting this post up, but better late then never!
Cousin Makayla turned one on May 1st, but we waited until Saturday the 4th to celebrate. The theme was pink-princess with a bit of purple, and the food was smoked pork, grilled potatoes, beans, chips, and cupcakes. Makayla seemed to enjoy her cake. She was so "polite." She used her two fingers and pinched at the frosting, and she didn't get dirty until she dropped the cake in her lap! Too cute!
We all enjoyed the relaxing time together. Things have been crazy for the Reyerson's, but they are finally all moved in at their acreage! We went out to see their house on Monday, and it looks like a brand new house! It's amazing how much they got accomplished in 2 weeks! (And they had to move during all of that snow! Yuck!) Great Grandma Betty is recuperating well at the nursing home for now. Her pelvis and wrist are mending slowly, and she is antsy to get back home. We are glad that hectic week is over, and all is getting back to "normal." :-)

We also enjoyed the surprising snow day on Thursday May 2nd. Mommy and Caleb hung out at home while Daddy helped out at Uncle Dave and Aunt Jessie's new house. We spent the day playing and snuggling a little too! We are so glad the snow is gone now! Bring on springtime!
